Classic British Cheeses and Burgundy Wine, with special guest speaker Sam Holden of Hafod Cheddar at The Courtyard Dairy UK
Andy will guide you through a look at the traditional cheeses of Britain and answer the question: what makes them traditional? The recipe? The history? The terroir? The talk will be joined by Sam Hafod of Holden Dairy – cheesemaker extraordinaire who some say is responsible for re-inventing Cheddar as we know it. Each of the cheeses will be matched to a distinctive (and different) wine from Burgundy selected and introduced by Rob Bagot of Buon Vino.
After the tasting a two-course dinner will be served by Pete and his time at The Brasserie.
Takes place at The Courtyard, Near Settle, Noth Yorkshire, UK, BD24 9JY. Starting at 6.30pm.
£39 a ticket please book in advance as these events sell out fast.
