Homemade Ice Cream From Your Own Snowy Backyard

Winter Storm Nemo may have you snowed-in, but here's a tip from NPR's The Salt that will keep you from going stir-crazy: make snow cream! By combining freshly fallen snow along with heavy cream and a few other pantry staples, you'll have your own freshly-churned ice cream, without the use of any special equipment!

That's ice cream made from fresh snow — but you have to mix it fast, before it melts.
