Rodenbach: A Wine-Drinker's Beer

We all know the divide between wine and beer drinkers can be a tough one to bridge, but Rodenbach, a sour beer that's blended in much the same way as many wines, is definitely a candidate that shows promise of a bipartisan accord. Refined but still exciting, Rodenbach would be great to serve alongside cheesy hors d'oeurves at any Inaguration Night party. Bonus: Micheal Jackson once called it "the most refreshing beer in the world!"

Rodenbach pours a ruby brown color with a thin beige head that quickly dissipates. The smell of passion fruit and sour cherries will dominate your nose during the first smell of this beer, but as it warms up a bit, you begin to pick up notes of oak, spices, and some caramel as well.
