Over One Ton of Mac & Cheese
Ever say, "I could eat a ton?" Well Chef John Folse of New Orleans cooked up a 2,100lb vat of Mac and Cheese yesterday to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Made with over 300lbs of cheeses donated by Cabot Creamery and about 1,100 pounds of milk from Brown's Dairy, the world-record vat of Mac & Cheese had to be cooked in an old sugar kettle from a Louisiana plantation.
