Say hello to the new foodie trend: the “Puffle,” a puff-pastry waffle! Easy to make and fun to say, this Coach Farm puffle will surely hit that sweet and savory flavor profile you’ve been looking for. Crunchy layers of puffle are glued together with fresh slices of fresh goat cheese and sweet guava paste. All topped with sweet maple syrup… irresistible!
  1. 1 14-17 oz. box of puff pastry, thawed according to package instructions
  2. 1 container of guava paste (goiabada)
  3. 8 oz. Coach Farm Fresh Goat Cheese
  4. Maple syrup for topping
  1. Electric Waffle Maker
  1. Heat waffle maker to medium-high heat. Unroll thawed puff pastry dough and cut to size of waffle maker. Place puff pastry piece in waffle maker and cook until completely golden brown, about 6 minutes depending on machine.
  2. While puffle is cooking, cut several slices of guava paste and set aside.
  3. Remove puffle from waffle maker and cut into 4 pieces. Smother 3 of the pieces with goat cheese and top with slices of guava paste. To assemble, stack the 3 smothered pieces, one on top of the other, and top with remaining piece.
  4. Serve with warm sweet maple syrup and enjoy! Get creative and add other toppings you love!
