
Veal Saltimbocca with BelGioioso Italico

Tender veal serves as the base for this traditional Italian main course full of flavor-packed ingredients such as prosciutto, sage, and BelGioioso's Italico cheese.

Ingredients
- 4 veal chops, pounded 1/4 inch thick
- 4 slices of prosciutto
- 4 ounces BelGioioso Italico cheese, sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 fresh sage leaves
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Top the center of the veal chops with a slice of prosciutto and a slice of BelGioioso Italico. Roll the veal chop and secure with a toothpick. Melt butter in a sauté pan over medium-high heat and cook the rolls until brown and the cheese melts, making sure to cook the meat on all sides. Add sage leaves and season rolls with salt and pepper while cooking.
