New Music Video from Pizza Underground

For those of you who haven’t been keeping up with your dairy-related celebrity news: For the past year or so, Macaulay Culkin (of Home Alone and Pagemaster fame) has been spending his time playing in a band called the Pizza Underground. Because obviously more cheese-related media makes the world a better place, the Pizza Underground covers songs by the Velvet Underground, but with a pizza twist— so, “Papa John Says,” “I’m Waiting for Delivery Man,” “Take a Bite of the Wild Slice,” and several more.

Apparently they are not so hot when it comes to actually performing (at least if your criterion is good music), but this has not stopped them from creating a beautifully weird 5-minute video recorded on VHS complete with kazoo, pizza-box percussion, pizza-slice masks, and day-old slices of pizza staple-gunned to the wall:

Vice has a surprisingly comprehensive breakdown of the shoot and an interview with the director, plus this pretty amazing GIF:

In conclusion, just remember, guys, “Everybody knows / She’s a pizza gal / Things she likes to eat / She’s a pizza gal / Sausages and cheese / She’s a Pizza Gal / Better lock your dooooooor. / Or just order moooooooooore.”
