In West Dorset, England, a singalong aside aging wheels of cheddar provided something to talk about other than whether to leave or remain.
The Dorset Echo reports that during a country–wide celebration, a choir crooned at Ford Farm’s Dorset Dairy. The occasion, BBC Music Day on June 3, aspires to bring together citizens through song.
While hundreds of others acts performed across the UK, one group chose an out–of–the–ordinary arena. Instead of a grand opera stage, 24 BBC singers stood in a room of almost–ready cheese to belt out a melody. The creamy cheese surrounding them provided surprisingly ideal acoustics which was broadcast live on British radio.
Ford Farms offers a wide variety of flavorful cheddars. Their wheels have achieved world-wide recognition at The International Cheese Awards as well as the Great Taste Awards.
Cheese has once again prevailed at being more than just delicious. Since cheddar is a neutral bystander in Britain’s Brexit battle, these wheels are able to elate all.
