Wanted: the owner of the most adorable thing to ever head-butt a door.
An animal shelter in northern New Jersey is searching for the owner of a goat that’s thought to have escaped from its home the Saturday before Easter. The Paramus Police Department captured the goat as it was “running in the roadway” and brought it to a local animal shelter. The picture below from the Paramus Police Department Facebook page shows lucky Officer Jonathan Henderson, who helped corral the delinquent goat after the cute little animal had been head-butting a door, presumably trying to find its way home. There might be some leads in the case of this goat gone wild. One of the comments on the Facebook post points to a residence that has “6 or 7 goats and they’ve been loose before,” while another poster claims that the goat was “the Easter Bunnies [sic] ride.” Either way, this baa-aa-aa-aad goat got some love (and luck!) this Easter. This little Easter goat is just one of the many runaway goats that have made the news. In 2012, police chased a “wayward goat” in Melbourne, Australia. If only all calls for “disorderly” conduct could be so adorbz.
