If you think that bread and butter go well together, wait until you try one of these quality butters dressed up with flavors like cranberry, garlic and herb, or roasted red pepper. You can also wrap up the finished butter in waxed paper with ribbon and give it away as a lovely homemade gift!
Photo by Leigh Anne of Your Homebased Mom.comFlavored butters can be used in a variety of ways, depending on the flavor of the butter. I like to make both sweet and savory. I think any flavor butter is good on a piece of bread but you can also use them on meat, fish, chicken to add a lovely flavor. After you grill a steak put a bit of garlic herb butter on top and let it melt in – so good!
