This week’s fan photo winner is Jan W., who shared his photo a few unique cheeses. On the left is Ferme de la Tremblaye’s Bleu de Chèvre Cendré, a blue goat’s milk cheese rubbed in vegetable ash; on the right is La Casearia Carpenedo’s Vento d’Estate, a robust cow’s milk cheese that is aged in oak barrels between layers of green hay, imparting a one-of-a-kind flavor. We’re not sure how Jan enjoyed these cheeses, but we would definitely pair them with a fruity red wine and enjoy the last days of summer.

Congrats, Jan! Look for your free issue in the mail. Keep on cheesin’!
