The key to a great grilled cheese is in the simple swaps. Tossing out American cheese for something a little more adult is a good start. But using garlic butter in place of regular or trading your run-of-the-mill basil pesto for a sundried tomato variety is what can take your grilled cheese from ho-hum to ho-YUM.

I love cheese. And if you’ve followed this blog for a nanosecond you’d know why. Maybe thanks to this and this and this. We all have our weaknesses. But recently I’ve felt a disconnect. I felt something’s been missing. I’ve missed my grilled cheese.
