How a Kid’s Joke Inspired His Family to Add a Cheese Course to Meals


“Smells bad. Tastes good.” That’s one seven-year-old’s take on blue cheese, and we’re betting he will have many more opinions on different cheese styles soon. Why’s that? His family recently decided to add a cheese course to their weeknight meals (awesome, right?). The idea all started with a joke referencing The Lego Movie — find out how below.

Lingering around the table for an extra ten minutes — it doesn’t take that long to pass around a cheese board and let everyone have a taste — is always a pleasure, even on a busy weeknight. And when it starts with a family belly laugh, it’s even better.
