Kraft Recalls American Singles

Kraft has added another product the list of this year’s recalled cheeses with their recent news: 7,691 cases of their popular American Singles could cause illness, and should be returned to the company. Though no one has become ill yet, Kraft issued a press release voluntarily recalling the product to avoid the risk:

A supplier did not store an ingredient used in this product in accordance with Kraft’s temperature standards. While unlikely, this could create conditions that could lead to premature spoilage and/or food borne illness; therefore, the company is issuing the recall as a precaution.

The products affected have a “Best when used by” date of February 20th and 21st, 2015 (view their press release for a full list of all affected varieties).
