Smooth Blood Orange Sherbet

Some say that winter’s no time to think about ice-cold desserts, but we have to disagree. We’re always ready for a frosty treat! Lighter than ice cream, but with a little more “oomph” than sorbet, the addition of blood orange in this sherbet makes it especially appropriate for the winter season.

There’s scoopable ice cream, and then there’s so-soft-it-ripples-like-hot-fudge ice cream. This is the latter, so smooth and creamy you’ll be surprised it wasn’t made by a professional.
