Why LaClare?
Since 1978, LaClare Family Creamery has been producing high-quality goat’s milk cheeses in its home state of Wisconsin. As the creamery has grown, it’s become one of the only 100% domestically produced goat cheese manufacturers in the country, working exclusively with local family-owned goat farms.
Today, LaClare includes a processing plant, retail shop, cafe, and visitor center in Malone, WI, and has received numerous national and international awards for its innovative and quality product. Nearby visitors can enjoy sampling cheeses in a family-friendly environment surrounded by 700 adorable on-site goats.
Choosing Your Cheeses
While picking from LaClare’s abundant cheese selection for your all-goat board, prioritize variety. Add a few of the renowned flavored chèvre logs, like the Blueberry Vanilla and Chipotle Honey flavors—both award-winning, both delicious with everything from salty nuts to sweet honey.
Add some complexity with LaClare’s Raw Cheddar, made with raw goat’s milk that adds a depth of flavor to this sweet, fruity, and creamy Cheddar. Finally, add slices of LaClare’s gouda-like Evalon, an American original with notes of piquant and caramel-like notes.
