9 Cheese Shops You Need to Follow on Instagram Right Now

It’s no secret that owning a cheese shop is hard work. From managing the case and sustaining an inventory to dealing with customer service and training new hires, there’s always something that needs to get done. Yet somehow there are still cheese shops that find the time to create a killer Instagram feed. If you’re looking to learn more about cheese next year, find new pairing and platter tips, or simply gaze at glamour shots that will keep you scrolling all night long, here are some of our favorite accounts.

@paxtonscheeseIt’s all about #cheeseoftheday features from London-based cheese shop Paxton & Whitfield. Established in 1797 and official royal family cheesemongers since 1850, their beautiful cheese portraits will have you drooling while you learn.

@murrayscheeseNYC staple Murray’s Cheese blesses our feed with some of the most beautiful cheese pics out there. A mix of reposted content from their dedicated followers and pro shots from New York photographer Ellen Mary Cronin, the photos are bright, cheerful, and just the right amount of cheeky.

@missioncheese: With a strong focus on American-made artisan cheese, the Bay Area’s Mission Cheese uses social media to boast its incredible selection of wedges, wheels, flights, and indulgent menu items, all shot at their gorgeous Misson Street location.

@littlesisterdelicatessenPrep yourself for some serious cheese porn from this Australian shop! If you’re a fan of oozing, NSFW kinds of cheese, follow Little Sister Delicatessen STAT. Once you’ve finished ogling the pictures, check the captions for some transcendent tasting notes.

@baccoswineandcheese: Based in Boston and specializing in handheld cheese beauty shots, Bacco’s Wine and Cheese is a go-to when we just want to tune out and feast our eyes on some wonderful wheels. We love when they spotlight their fantastic beverage selection, too.

@venissimo.northparkLocated in San Diego, Venissimo North Park is constantly wowing us with their mosaic-like cheese plates and shots of drippy, ripe cheeses. We don’t know how they find the time to build platters like that and take an Insta-ready photo, but we’re sure glad they do.

@queseriacultivoYou don’t need to speak Spanish to enjoy this Madrid shop’s feed. Queseria Cultivo’s pictures of both domestic and imported cheeses are so beautiful, you might just book yourself a ticket to the country’s capital.

@antonellischz: Austin, Texas-based Antonelli’s Cheese Shop delivers everything you want in an IG feed: perfect platters, cheese porn, and the occasional baby goat. Don’t miss their Instagram stories for a behind-the-scenes look at tastings and events.

@bklynlarder: Brooklyn Larder shares beautifully lit images of beer and cheese pairings, baked goods, platters, grilled cheese, and other tantalizing offerings. If you’re looking for inspiration for your next cheese and beer pairing night, tap over to this account ASAP.
