Many of you may not be old enough to remember when MTV was brand new, when it had about eight music videos—heck, when it had music videos at all. The other thing MTV had was variations on the M. Every animator within spitting distance of Viacom made an MTV M, and they became the iconic glue of a whole new form of entertainment. It’s the holiday season, and it’s getting cold; so here’s a little indoor art project for the whole family:
The culture C Video Contest
Make a video of any duration up to one minute that features the culture C. You can use any media you want—anything from AfterEffects to crumbled blue cheese and sprinkles. Animation or live-action. High-art or low-brow. We welcome the tasteful, tasteless, or tasty. It’s up to you.
