Stout and Pretzels Ice Cream

Love beer? Love pretzels? Love ice cream? Why don’t you try ’em all at once? In the springtime, when the weather is just on the cusp of cool and warm, this ice cream is perfection — it’s a frozen treat, but the stout and pretzels provide a bit of heartiness. Oh, and there’s chocolate. Did we mention chocolate?

You’ll notice that chopping chocolate-covered pretzels makes the chocolate coating fall off rather easily. Don’t worry if that happens, as there is plenty of chocolate in the ice cream itself. The idea is to incorporate a sweet and salty texture to the ice cream. It doesn’t have to be perfect.
