New on the Market Spring 2022

We’ve rounded up five new products that are perfect for your next spring gathering or picnics in the park.

Dalmatia has debuted raw and unfiltered honeys from the coastal region of Croatia, ideal for pairing with a range of cheeses. Produced only from late May to early June, Chestnut is full-bodied and herbal, Acacia is delicate and floral, and Forest is medium-bodied and aromatic.

Valesco Trading’s O’Live 2 Snack Pouches offer exciting alternatives to your usual snacking options. The handy pouches of pitted olives come in six flavors, ranging from Grilled and Marinated Green Olives with Garlic and Herbs to Hot Spicy Mix Olives with Chili Peppers and Herbs.

As part of its expanded product line, Maine-based Stonewall Kitchen has introduced three new feta spreads: Olive, Roasted Red Pepper, and Mediterranean. Try them on a cheese board, in a pasta dish, as a sandwich filling, or to top pizza.

Christie’s Chips offers a new line of Certified Vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO potato chips, all made fresh daily and hand-packed in sunny Santa Monica, CA. The colorfully packaged chips come in five flavors: Sea Salt, Nacho Inferno, Sour Cream and Wild Onion, Back Yard BBQ, and Chili Con Queso.

Rock Star is Snowdonia Cheese Company’s first vintage, cave-aged cheddar, aged for 18 months in former slate mines in Snowdonia National Park in Wales. The time deep underground gives this cheddar a smooth texture with the occasional crunch of a tyrosine crystal, and a complex, yet mellow flavor.

Alli Beard

Alli Beard hails from the Midwest but currently resides in Washington, D.C. On her breaks from Instagram-scrolling and cheese-tasting, Alli enjoys listening to her ever-growing vinyl collection, avidly following St. Louis sports and reading poetry at her local coffee shop.
