Giving Tuesday: The Best Cheese Non-Profits to Donate To

Now that you’ve survived Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, it’s time for Giving Tuesday—a global movement that encourages people to support charities and non-profits as a way to give back to our communities.

If you’re interested in giving back to the cheese community, here are some of our favorite industry non-profits that pay it forward.

The Cheese Culture Coalition

Make a donation in your loved one’s name to the Cheese Culture Coalition and their work to increase racial diversity within the cheese industry.

Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund

Donate to the Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund, which allows youth to apprentice in sustainable systems and agriculture, domestically and abroad.

The Daphne Zepos Teaching Endowment

Support the next generation of cheese educators by donating to the Daphne Zepos Teaching Endowment (DZTE). DZTE provides two scholarships to food industry professionals to travel and further their learning—and their ability to educate others—about cheese.

Back in the Vat Grant

The Cheeseletes launched the Back in the Vat grant to connect enthusiastic individuals with hosts looking for inspiration from the outside. Grant recipients get valuable hands-on experience at one of their participating partners.

American Cheese Education Foundation

The American Cheese Education (ACE) Foundation is the official fundraising arm of the American Cheese Society (ACS). Your contribution goes toward creating access to cheese education by funding a variety of educational opportunities such as the ACS Conference scholarships, webinars, and more.
